Zopilote Inc. / Heliográfica Nacional is a newly born collective of printmakers and photographers interested in heliogravure as prefered technique, we are also very into mix media (woodcut, linocut, hand cut vinyl, collage, drawing, cyanotype, tintype, etc.) always taking old school analog photographic processes as starting point for our visual research, we are building an archive, this archive will be growing and mutating for ever, our images go from landscape to portraiture, or just simple moments captured on film and transferred into copper plates in order to have hi-res analog prints, printed from copper plates into japanese paper.
